My name is Mark Filipowich and I’m a writer living in Canada. Most of my writing in the last few years has focused on videogame criticism, which can be found on PopMatters and The Border House, Medium Difficulty, Game Church, Unwinnable, Nightmare Mode and The Ontological Geek. Many of my articles have been re-posted by Gamasutra, Critical-Distance and Good Games Writing. All my games writing can be found on my Published Work page.
I started this blog to expand upon my writing in a more personal voice, away from this or that editorial expectation. This also provides me with a venue for any articles that I don’t think would fit anywhere else. It has since evolved into a space where I hope people can find more about videogame criticism, where to find it and who’s writing it.
